2025 Mission of the Quarter
July / August / September

Churches United was founded in 1987 by eleven local faith groups originating from the old Bethesda Lutheran Church. Over the past 37 years, the organization has expanded to include more than 100 supporting faith communities. Today, Churches United operates three locations throughout the Fargo-Moorhead community, offering one shelter, a food pantry, and a permanent supportive housing complex. Their core values are to Serve with Heart, Engage Authentically and Act with Courage. Their work is carried out with an emphasis on equity and authentic community engagement. 88% of every dollar received goes directly to serving our neighbors in need.

Local Mission ~
The Local Offering is money set aside for a local person or mission in need.
If any member of the congregation knows of a need, please let the Ad Council know so it can be considered. Thank You!
The Local Mission
June, July, and August Local dollars were sent to Frazee/Vergas, Pelican Rapids, and Perham schools to assist with providing help to the students that need it as school begins. Many children come to school without the supplies needed to be successful.
